The Physician is responsible for providing non-surgical primary and continuing care, including examining patients, ordering diagnostic tests, creating treatment plans, and initiating specialty referrals. This role also involves leadership, coordination, and administrative duties, such as ensuring proper documentation and compliance with billing and coding.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree with a minimum three-year residency in Otorhinolaryngology, along with valid American Board certification in the specialty and an unrestricted Connecticut medical license. Preferred qualifications include professional clinical experience in Otorhinolaryngology, and all applicants must maintain BLS certification and a valid DEA registration.
