Direct Support Professionals assist individuals living independently in the community by helping them with daily needs, which includes taking them to appointments and activities. Job duties also involve supporting individuals with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, managing money, and writing necessary notes.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and be able to travel to different sites as needed, maintaining availability for a flexible schedule that may fluctuate based on individual needs. A valid NYS license and clean driving record are required, along with the physical ability to lift 50lbs.
8am-4pm Sunday-Thursday with flexibility to work some evenings as needed. 2.
