The Social Worker will provide evaluations, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention to children, families, and adults diagnosed with a full range of DSM diagnoses in a clinic setting. Family Service League is seeking a full-time Social Worker for our Mental Health Clinic in Huntington. The Social Worker will provide evaluations, treatment planning, psychotherapy and crisis intervention to children, families and adults with a full range of DSM diagnoses in a clinic setting, including co-occurring disorders. Services are delivered in a trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner.
Master’s degree in relevant human service field required.
LMSW, LMHC, LCSW or related licensed clinical degree/ permit with diagnostic privilege required.
At least one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting required.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to multitask, solve problems, make clear decisions, and work individually and as part of a team.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays.
This position requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time.
