The Hospitalist is responsible for providing direct inpatient clinical care and managing medical problems for acutely ill, hospitalized, adult, non-surgical patients. This role involves leading the interdisciplinary team to enhance efficiency and facilitate the continuum of care from admission through discharge, including managing comorbidities.
Candidates must have residency and board certification in the area of specialty (Hospital Medicine/Internal Medicine), although board-eligible physicians will be considered if certification is obtained within four years of eligibility. The role requires displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct while supporting the organization's mission.
