The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with the Medical Plan of Care, functioning as a primary care leader, associate, or charge nurse. This role requires exercising accountability, authority, and autonomy while acting as a role model and resource person.
Candidates must possess a current Registered Nurse license in Iowa or meet the Iowa Board of Nursing criteria, along with graduation from an accredited nursing program. Additional requirements include the ability to manage and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care at Registered Nurse or LPN skill level, in collaboration with the Medical Plan of Care, with a minimum of assistance. To function as primary care leader, associate, or charge nurse so that optimum quality of patient care is maintained according to the philosophy and objectives of Allen Hospital. To exercise accountability responsibility, authority, autonomy, and act as a role model and resource person with expanded theory and expertise
Current RN license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing. Graduate of an accredited nursing program Ability to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate the nursing care delivered to a group of patients. Ability to assume responsibility for personal and professional growth. Able to meet the physical demands on file in the Human Resources Department.
