The Occupational Therapy Assistant will plan and administer treatments to residents with disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing, while providing skilled services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This role also involves instructing patients and families, monitoring treatment responses, and completing all required documentation accurately and on time.
Candidates must possess an active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license and the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential, remaining in good standing with all regulatory bodies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred, along with current knowledge of occupational therapy practices.
