The Extern will assist experienced dermatologists with patient care, which includes taking histories, performing physical exams, and documenting information. Responsibilities also involve performing basic dermatological procedures like biopsies and cryotherapy, and participating in educational activities.
Candidates must currently be enrolled in a medical or physician assistant program and possess a strong interest in dermatology. Essential qualifications include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
