Under supervision, the role involves performing various procedures, including CT scans, invasive procedures, and post-processing, utilizing computerized tomographic equipment to create high-quality diagnostic images. The employee must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive care appropriate to the age of patients seen in the emergency room department.
Required education is graduation from an ARRT approved radiologic technology program, and candidates must be ARRT certified or registry eligible, maintaining all continuing education mandates. Experience requirements include basic computer skills and medical and/or hospital clinical experience.
Under the supervision of the Outpatient Imaging Director, Team Leader and/or Radiologist,, performs a variety of procedures, including CT scans and invasive procedures and post processing.
Required: A graduate of an ARRT approved radiologic technology program.

The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's policies and procedures.
