The Medical Laboratory Technician obtains or receives specimens and performs clinical laboratory tests using standardized procedures. Responsibilities also include performing quality control, preventive maintenance, and interpreting results for accuracy and critical limits.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician and have relevant experience. Eligibility for ASCP or AMT certification and licensure is required, along with strong computer and communication skills.
PRN - As Needed Every other weekend coverage A Medical Laboratory Technician obtains or receives specimens, performs clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures, performs quality control, performs preventive maintenance, and interprets results as to accuracy, acceptability and critical limits. The MLT works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines, and validates all data obtained. #PHX
