The Endodontist provides specialized endodontic services, including diagnosing and treating complex tooth pain, performing nonsurgical root canal treatments, and advising patients on post-surgery care. This role also involves leading dental assistants and hygienists, coordinating treatment, and contributing to quality improvement activities.
Candidates must possess a Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine or Surgery, completion of an endodontics residency program, and a valid California Dental License and DEA licensure. Preferred qualifications include certification through the American Board of Endodontics and a minimum of two years of experience as an Endodontist.

Role overview and purpose
The Endodontist (dental specialist) works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare (NHC) by providing endodontic services to patients. This role will perform endodontic procedures and services to patients based on in-house dental assessments and plans, diagnosing and treating complex causes of tooth pain (i.e. infections leading to tooth abscesses). In addition, this role will impart health education information, relevant techniques to patients, as well as advising patients on post-surgery dental care, and prescribing suitable pain-relief medication.
Pay Ranges- $84.66-$137.00, per hour depending on experience (DOE) and additional qualifications.
The posted salary range reflects the designated pay grade for this position. While this range represents the broader classification of the role, actual compensation will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s overall knowledge, skills, and experience, market data and industry benchmarks, internal equity within the organization, Budgetary considerations and organizational needs. As a result, placement within the range is not guaranteed, and the full pay grade range may not be utilized.
