This role involves assisting a licensed pharmacist with medication preparation, repacking, and dispensing, while also supporting clinical monitoring to ensure medication safety and effectiveness. Essential functions include preparing and delivering medications, managing automated dispensing machine inventory, processing records, and performing sterile and non-sterile compounding according to USP standards.
Candidates must be actively enrolled in or a graduate of an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy or have FPEGC certification, and must possess the required state Pharmacy Intern Licensure and BCLS certification. Preferred experience includes a minimum of one year as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting, along with basic computer skills and good attendance.
