The Central Staffing Resident Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality care and services to residents in various PHS communities. They support nursing care teams by delivering vital staffing support and ensuring residents' choices are respected.
Candidates must have a minimum of six months of experience in a healthcare setting and hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification. They should also be willing to travel to different communities and have flexible scheduling availability.
The Central Staffing Resident Assistant is responsible for the provision of high quality care and services to residents in a variety of PHS communities. As a Central Staffing Resident Assistant you are relied upon for providing vital staffing support to our nursing care teams. The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing care and services to support the choices of residents, while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
A minimum of six (6) months of prior experience in a health care setting. Current Nursing Assistant Certification in the state(s) where you will work (for Care Center/Long Term Care and TCU openings) Able and willing to travel to communities within a 30 mile radius of your home. Full Time: Available to work a minimum of 60 hours per two week pay period, have regular and predictable schedule availability, and be flexible and able to adapt to changing staffing needs. On-Call: Able to work a minimum of 5 shifts a month, including one weekend shift. Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness. Demonstrated problem solving skills, dependability, ability to adapt to the scheduling and staffing needs at various PHS communities. Demonstrated compatibility with PHS' mission and operating philosophies. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers. Pay Range The estimated starting pay range for this role is $22.60 - $24.25 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
