The OR RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases, primarily responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for all age patients in the operating room according to nursing standards.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited RN School of Nursing with an active RN license in Pennsylvania, and must possess BLS, ACLS, or PALS certifications upon hire. A minimum of one year of experience in an intra-operative setting is required, along with the ability to both scrub and circulate as needed.
