The role involves providing clinical support with basic nursing care and patient monitoring under the supervision of a Registered Nurse for the general welfare and safety of all patients. Responsibilities include assisting with basic patient care, performing selected procedures like specimen collections, and maintaining clean and orderly patient care areas.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an accredited nursing assistant program or equivalent, such as a student nurse. A minimum of one year of medical/surgical or equivalent experience is preferred, and Nurse Aide Certification or equivalent along with BLS certification is required.
