The Veterinary Assistant will support technicians and veterinarians during emergency exams and treatments, which includes safely restraining patients and assisting with handling during procedures. Responsibilities also cover maintaining treatment areas, supporting patient comfort through cleaning and feeding, and collecting samples for basic lab tasks.
Candidates must possess previous veterinary experience, with experience in emergency settings being preferred. Essential requirements include strong patient handling and restraint skills, the ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations, and a strong team-oriented mindset with good communication abilities.
