The Physician delivers high-quality care for diagnosis, treatment, health promotion, and disease prevention, providing physical and emotional support to patients and families in accordance with the highest standards of quality and integrity. Essential functions include evaluating patients, analyzing test results to propose treatment options, prescribing medications, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with an integrated team of healthcare professionals.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited institution and have successfully completed an accredited residency program. Required credentials include being Board Eligible or Board Certified, maintaining an active and unencumbered Arizona state medical license with prescriptive authority, a current DEA License, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience: Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited medical educational institution. Successful completion of an accredited residency program. If applicable, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job. Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations: Board Eligible or Board Certified in their clinical specialty. Must have and maintain and active and unencumbered Arizona state license as a Physician including prescriptive authority from the Board of Medical Examiners, State of Arizona. Must obtain and maintain current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency License (DEA) for prescriting controlled substances. Must obtain and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers. Remain current will all licensure requirmements, compliance training, Code of Conduct and other regulations as mandated by state and federal laws. Level I fingerprint clearance card: current valid and in good standing or have applied for it within seven working days after beginning employment. Employees in this position are required to have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday. If an employee is driving during work hours, the employee is required to possess a valid driver’s license and must comply with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements. Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities: Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting. Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments and health regimens to treat patient health issues. Experience collaborating with specialists to explore patient health conditions and diagnose health issues. Bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages.
