Hospital-Based Hemodialysis Team We are growing our inpatient dialysis program and seeking experienced LPNs to join a structured, team-based care model focused on safe, high-quality hemodialysis delivery.

This role is designed for LPNs who prefer full-day clinical shifts and value consistency without on-call obligations.

Position Overview The LPN will provide hemodialysis treatment in hospital settings under the supervision of a full-spectrum RN team.

This role focuses on direct treatment delivery, patient monitoring, and dialysis workflow support within defined licensure parameters.

This is not a solo-provider position.

LPNs will never be assigned independent hospital coverage or on-call responsibility.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient hemodialysis treatments Monitor patients during dialysis and report clinical changes Support setup and takedown of CKRT and PD therapies (as trained) Collaborate with RN team for escalation or complex care needs Document care accurately and timely Support safe dialysis workflow and equipment handling What This Role Does Not Include Independent hospital coverage On-call shifts CKRT primary management Apheresis Sole clinical authority for acute dialysis services Schedule & Structure Full-day clinical shifts No routine on-call requirement Team-based staffing model Defined supervision and escalation pathways This position is ideal for LPNs who: Prefer structured long shifts Thrive in collaborative environments Want acute care exposure without call burden Value clear scope boundaries

Qualifications

Active LPN license (state-specific) Dialysis experience preferred Acute care experience a plus Strong assessment and communication skills Ability to function within a team-based acute care model Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible. Requirements

Candidates must possess an active state-specific LPN license, and dialysis experience is preferred, though acute care experience is a plus. Strong assessment and communication skills are required to function effectively within a team-based acute care model.
