The Nurse Practitioner will conduct pulmonary consultations and follow-up visits at assigned post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities, performing comprehensive assessments and managing individualized pulmonary care plans in coordination with a supervising pulmonologist. Key duties include ordering and interpreting diagnostics, prescribing medications for conditions like COPD and asthma, and communicating findings with multidisciplinary teams to reduce unnecessary hospital transfers.
Required qualifications include an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, and current BLS/ACLS certification, along with strong independent clinical assessment skills. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in pulmonology, critical care, or post-acute care settings, and familiarity with various respiratory conditions.
Integrity Pulmonary Specialist is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. In this full-time position, you will serve as a vital extension of our pulmonology practice by conducting pulmonary consultations at post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities across the East Valley, Central Scottsdale, and Central Phoenix. Your work will be central to our mission: delivering expert, personalized pulmonary care bedside—reducing unnecessary hospital transfers and improving outcomes for our most vulnerable patients.
You will work in close collaboration with our supervising pulmonologist, who manages ventilator-dependent patients at separate facilities throughout the valley. The nurse practitioner and pulmonologist operate at distinct locations—the NP’s assigned rehabs do not include vented patient facilities—creating a well-organized, specialized care model that allows each provider to focus on their respective patient populations.
WHY INTEGRITY PULMONARY SPECIALIST? At Integrity Pulmonary Specialist, we believe that patients deserve expert pulmonary care without the disruption and stress of an unnecessary hospital transfer. Our model brings specialist-level assessment and treatment directly to patients in their rehab and recovery environments. If you are a nurse practitioner who is passionate about preventive care, building lasting patient relationships, and working within a collaborative and supportive physician-led team, we want to hear from you.
