The role involves providing hospitalist coverage, with openings for both day and night shifts, operating on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule with 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include managing patients requiring ventilator support, performing lumbar punctures, and placing central lines.
Candidates must be trained or experienced physicians in Internal Medicine or Family Practice to fill either day or night shift openings. The position requires proficiency in specific critical care procedures such as ventilator management, LP, and central line placement.
Servicing over 200K residents, area features a diverse economic base through the presence of a regional university, agriculture, small businesses, a strong healthcare system & easy access to Savannah & nearby communities.
