The technologist performs radiologic and CT procedures on patients of all ages while ensuring safety and operational efficiency. They are responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, and processing images for diagnostic reading.
Candidates must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and obtain CT certification within one year. Basic Life Support certification is also required within four months of hire.

Position: Radiologic/CT Technologist
.7-.9 FTE (56-72 hours/pay period)
Work schedule: 8-hour shift / Days, Evenings, Nights
Performs Imaging/CT procedures on patients of all ages and for all areas of organization. Examines provider's orders to assure proper tests are completed. Instructs and prepares patient for procedure. Assures patient safety with the use of screening females of child bearing age for pregnancy, shielding, immobilization devices and appropriate age specific techniques. Operates equipment accurately and efficiently using proper technical factors for radiological diagnosis and following the Imaging/CT procedure protocols to perform quality control procedures. Obtains and prepares CT procedures for reading using image reconstruction and post processing techniques. Obtains and evaluates images for quality and technical clarity, then prepares images for reading.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registered. ARRT CT certified or obtained post completion of competencies within 1 year. Basic Life Support certified or obtain within 4 months. Basic computer skills. Good interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values. Maintains reliable and consistent attendance. $31.72- $44.78 Hourly
