The Certified Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and treatment in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician or supervising provider, which includes preparing patients for examinations and administering treatments. Essential duties also involve providing necessary front office support, such as maintaining Electronic Medical Records, managing supplies, and handling patient communications and scheduling.

Provides care for and treats patients in medical office, as directed by Physician, Advanced Clinical Provider, Registered Nurse or supervising department manager in addition to providing front office support in clinical areas as needed

Active CMA or RMA Certification from accredited association.
Successfully completed and passed an accredited Associates Degree program in Medical Assisting or an accredited CMA program.
BLS/CPR Certification.
• One year clinical experience
