Duties include: Taking ownership of back office duties and systems Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs Assisting the dentist during pre-operative and operative procedures Scanning patients for procedures using iTero scanner, pre- and post-op work, crowns and bridges Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments Providing post-operative instructions to patients Following up with patients to ensure the highest level of satisfaction Understanding each phase of our Airway, Invisalign and general dentistry treatments Placing temporary crowns, attachments, buttons, and fixed expanders Creating, managing, coordinating, and following up with online scheduling, consults, and virtual appointments Cleaning suction traps, running cleaners in equipment, and ordering supplies
The ideal candidate’s background: We prefer candidates with at least 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant Invisalign experience preferred State License and CPR certification required Knowledge of dental instruments and medical equipment Proficient in taking accurate dental radiographs Outstanding organizational, communication, and patient service skills Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of situations and people Exhibits confidence and enthusiasm for new challenges Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new dental technologies and techniques
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, a state license, and CPR certification. Proficiency in dental radiographs and experience with Invisalign is preferred.
