The Unlicensed Clinician provides mental health support services to members and their families within the program. This role also involves assisting in the coordination of all mental health support services by collaborating with team members and external agencies like the Conservator’s Office and Probation Department.
Candidates must be registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences holding an ASW, AMFT, or APCC license, and possess a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences. A minimum of one year of direct service experience with mentally ill individuals is required, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to use a vehicle for client transport and meetings.

The Clinician Unlicensed provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. The Clinician also assists in the coordination of all mental health support services provided by the Team. This includes coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies such as, the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers.
Expected starting wage range is $70,304.00 - $84,024.91. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Gateway to Recovery serves adults and Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) considered high users of Medi-Cal mental health services and/or long-term locked institutional care. Services are designed using the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) for 220 members.
