The Medical Assistant will support patient care by preparing exam rooms, managing patient flow, recording vitals, assisting with procedures like EKGs, and collecting lab specimens. They will also help with administrative tasks such as greeting patients and verifying insurance when needed.
Candidates must have graduated from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program and possess BCLS certification obtained through in-person training from the American Heart Association. Current Medical Assistant certification is preferred, along with strong clinical skills including phlebotomy and aseptic technique.
