Home Health Aides are responsible for providing non-medical caregiving services to seniors, which includes assisting clients with activities of daily living and providing companionship and emotional support. They must also follow personalized care plans and assist with housekeeping and meal preparation.
Candidates must be certified as a Home Health Aide (HHA), STNA, CNA, or MA in North Carolina. Essential soft skills include excellent communication abilities and a compassionate and empathetic attitude, along with the capacity to work independently.
