The Medication Aide is responsible for setting up and administering resident medications according to physician orders and professional standards, with potential supervision of CNAs. Responsibilities also include providing essential personal hygiene assistance, serving meals, feeding patients, and maintaining patient stability by monitoring vital signs and recording necessary data.
Candidates must be licensed as a Medication Aide in Indiana and maintain a current and unencumbered license to perform the duties. The role requires providing direct patient care, including medication administration and assistance with daily living activities.
