The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications prescribed by practitioners and providing patients with essential information regarding their use, including dosage, interactions, and storage. This role also requires maintaining accurate pharmacy records, patient profiles, charge system files, and inventories.
The minimum requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for a Pennsylvania Pharmacy license. Applicants must also be available to cover night shifts.
PHARMACIST (Mount Nittany Medical Center - State College, PA): Responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners; providing information to patients about medications and their use; advising on selection, dosage, drug interactions, side effects, and proper storage. Maintain accurate records including pharmacy file, patient profiles, charge system files, and inventories. Must be available for Night coverage.
