The MRI Technician is responsible for operating MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They must also maintain equipment, document patient records, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic standards are met.
Candidates must possess strong knowledge of MRI imaging techniques and anatomy along with the ability to follow strict safety protocols. Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and excellent patient care skills are required for this role.
PAY: $70-$72/hr Full time day shift 3x12, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and ensuring safety protocols are followed Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images Monitor patients during the scan and respond to any discomfort or complications Review images for quality and ensure they meet diagnostic standards Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment Follow strict safety guidelines due to strong magnetic fields Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals Key Skills Knowledge of MRI imaging techniques and anatomy Attention to detail and image accuracy Strong patient care and communication skills Ability to follow strict safety procedures Technical proficiency with imaging equipment
