Physician, Urgent Care (Full Time)

At NorthBay Health, we are looking for a Board-Certified, Licensed Urgent Care Physician to join our respected health system in Northern California.

Our Urgent Care centers provide high-quality, immediate care for non-life-threatening conditions, with compassionate staff and easy access to a comprehensive network of specialists if needed. • Locations: Benicia, American Canyon, Dixon, Rio Vista, Fairfield, Vacaville
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only
• Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio shared among physicians and sites
• Daily Patient Census: Average 20-40 patients per day
• Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and comprehensive resources
• Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Primary Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine appropriate treatment plans
• Recommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses and injuries
• Monitor lab results and medication adherence
• Prescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccinations as necessary
• Educate patients and families on procedures, test results, and treatment options
• Refer patients to specialists when needed
• Actively participate in hospital committees and initiatives
