The role involves performing cardiac ultrasound examinations for patients. Additionally, the ultrasonographer will assist physicians during procedures in the operating room, ICU, and Catheterization lab, specifically with trans-esophageal studies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must have completed and graduated from a formal AMA-approved ultrasound technology program. Required credentials include ARDMS or CCI certification, or the ability to obtain one within 12 months, along with BLS certification.
