The LVN provides direct nursing care, including medication administration and resident monitoring, during the overnight shift. They are responsible for documenting resident status and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure clinical excellence.
The LVN provides direct nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, and applicable regulations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining resident safety, comfort, and clinical excellence during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration and treatments Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the RN or physician Accurately document nursing care and resident status in the medical record Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed Collaborate with CNAs and other care team members to ensure quality resident care Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
