The primary responsibility is providing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, managing both low- and high-risk laboring patients, and performing necessary procedures like cesarean deliveries.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO from an accredited school and have completed an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency, along with being Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
$140–$160/hour (based on shift type and experience) Coverage: Malpractice insurance fully provided (including tail) Reimbursement: Licensing and credentialing fees covered Status: 1099 independent contractor Note: Health insurance, PTO, and employer retirement benefits not included Key Responsibilities Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital-based setting Manage and deliver care for both low- and high-risk laboring patients Perform cesarean deliveries, vaginal births, and emergency OB/GYN procedures Handle inpatient and emergency department consults Collaborate closely with nursing, anesthesia, and MFM teams Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation
Minimum Requirements: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active or eligible Arizona medical license Preferred Experience: Prior hospitalist or inpatient OB experience Skilled in surgical and emergency obstetrics Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ideal Candidate This position is perfect for OB/GYN physicians who: Want to stay clinically active without a full-time schedule Are transitioning into retirement or returning to inpatient practice Prefer a flexible, hospital-based role without outpatient duties
