The physician will practice general family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, and casting, while evaluating, interpreting, and coordinating information to make decisions regarding patient care. Responsibilities include shared call taken twice a month, all triaged through MyNurse, and working as a team member to improve community health.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine, along with the ability to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa. Applicants must also hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe medications and be eligible to work in the United States.
