About the role

The License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will use a strengths-based recovery-focused approach to facilitate group and individual/family therapy services for individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

The License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will utilize a strengths based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals. Education/Experience Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required Community Mental Health experience highly preferred Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred Licensure Must have a temporary license to practice or; Be recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) preferred Must be working towards full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)

Requirements

A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field. Candidates must possess a temporary license or be recognized as an Associate by the State of Indiana and must be actively working towards full licensure.
