The Summer Student Worker will assist doctors, veterinary technicians, and assistants with all facets of patient care and client communication within a specialty and emergency medicine environment. Responsibilities include performing basic patient assessments, documenting treatments, administering basic life support, and operating standard veterinary equipment.
Applicants must be full-time students currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program and commit to working 8 to 12 weeks between May and September. Preferred qualifications include prior animal experience, though no prior emergency or specialty medicine experience is required.
Must be a full-time student enrolled in an AVMA accredited DVM/VMD. Must be available for a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks during May – September.
