The Physical Therapy Assistant will administer medically prescribed treatments to relieve pain, improve function, and promote healing by implementing and modifying patient care plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities also include measuring patient function, monitoring treatment response, providing clinical support and education, and ensuring timely documentation compliance.
Candidates must possess an active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license and be in good standing with all regulatory bodies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred, along with current knowledge of physical therapy practices.
