Registered nurse (Rn)- Night shift

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• The RN provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population; directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensures consistent carry-through.
• The Registered Nurse is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties.
• The RN provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates.
• The RN works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications

Education/Training

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Tennessee State Registered Nurse License Current CPR certification (training provided) Current
• Handle

• Care (HWC) certification (training provided)
• Experience: One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
