The Occupational Therapy Assistant will plan and administer treatments to residents with disabilities to restore function and improve quality of life, working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This role involves providing skilled interventions, monitoring patient responses, and completing all required clinical documentation thoroughly and on time.
Candidates must possess an active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license and the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential, maintaining good standing with all regulatory bodies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred, along with current knowledge of occupational therapy practices.
