The Hematology/Oncology Physician will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with various blood disorders and cancers, which includes developing individualized treatment plans and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. Key duties involve managing outpatient clinics, handling inpatient consultations, and providing essential education and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree, be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology, and have completed accredited residency and fellowship programs. Eligibility for or possession of a New York medical license, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills are also mandatory requirements.
