• Position Overview The Urologist will diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
• The physician will work closely with primary care providers, specialists, and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.
• Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage conditions related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system Perform urologic surgical procedures and minimally invasive treatments as appropriate Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations Interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging studies and laboratory results Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress Provide patient education regarding treatment options, medications, and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Community Overview Located in the scenic Green Mountains, Rutland offers a welcoming community with a high quality of life and abundant outdoor recreation.

• General Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology Completion of an accredited residency program in urology Eligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical license Strong clinical and surgical skills Excellent communication and patient care abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
