ProgressiveHealth is looking for Nurse Practitioners to join our team at an H-E-B distribution facility in San Antonio, TX in both FT and PRN capacities. In this role, you’ll provide occupational health services in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll work directly with employees, helping them stay healthy, safe, and productive while supporting injury prevention and wellness programs. Schedule: M-F 10am - 6pm
What will you be doing in this role?
Providing direct, onsite patient care services and professional services to meet client-requested coverage hours
Delivering occupational health services, including assessments, histories, physical exams, and treatments
Prescribing medications and medical treatments based on evidence-based practice standards
Collaborating with nursing and safety staff to implement medical protocols, procedures, and emergency plans
Providing guidance and education to additional clinical staff as appropriate
Supporting injury prevention initiatives and wellness programs to improve employee health and productivity
Monitoring employee health, conducting surveillance for occupational and non-occupational health risks, and responding to health concerns

Our ideal candidate will have
Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board Certification
Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner in state of practice location
Not currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction

A healthcare provider must hold a valid and in-good-standing license and/or certification to practice in the State or Country where the facility of employment is located; or be eligible to obtain such a license and have current CPR/AED/BLS certification.
If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances, a valid DEA license is required.
