Responsible for patient education and the measuring and fitting of various orthoses. Maintain documentation necessary to obtain pre-certification and ensure accurate claim processing.
00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00, May travel between Mechanicsburg and Good Hope locations, Will provide weekend coverage at Powder Mill urgent care as needed (typically 1 shift per month)
• Successful completion of ABC/BOC fitter course or Graduate of an accredited business school or college with focus in medical assisting.
Candidates must successfully complete an ABC/BOC fitter course or graduate from an accredited medical assisting program, with ABC or BOC certification required within six months of hire. Preferred qualifications include ATC or COF certification, and current CPR or BLS certification is mandatory before independent patient work.
