Registered Nurses are responsible for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, which includes Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
Participate in discharge planning process.
Basic Life Support (BLS)--must be BLS certified within 30 days from hire date. Required Skills License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of AL
Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree and hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of the hire date.
