The role is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical standards, collaborating with other disciplines to ensure efficient patient care and desired outcomes. Essential functions involve utilizing the nursing process for diagnosis and treatment of human responses to health alterations, including administering care, interpreting tests, and educating patients and families.
Candidates must be able to practice nursing as defined by diagnosing and treating human responses to health alterations, requiring the ability to pass position-specific competencies. A minimum of one year of hospital clinical experience is preferred, and licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio is mandatory.
