Nurses are responsible for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, which includes Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. They will also develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, family, and interdisciplinary staff, and communicate clinical condition changes to physicians and supervisors.
A minimum requirement is an Associate’s degree, and candidates must possess a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of the hire date.
