The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments and behavioral health care, focusing on assessment, intervention, education, and linkage to appropriate resources to maximize client self-direction in their health care experiences. Duties include promoting multi-disciplinary, patient-centered care while maintaining thorough knowledge of available community resources and completing required documentation per policy.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree and hold a current, unrestricted license in the state of practice (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT), along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a required National Provider Identifier (NPI) before starting. Required experience includes one year in a mental health setting plus three to five years of related experience in environments like hospitals, FQHCs, or outpatient clinics.
