The Housekeeper performs all assigned housekeeping duties for long-term care and transitional care unit residents, which includes vacuuming, changing water, maintaining the housekeeping cart, and replenishing supplies like soap and paper towels. This role also involves cleaning public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms, ensuring chemicals are locked up, and assisting with emergency spills as needed.
The required qualifications specify less than 1 year of experience, while preferred qualifications suggest 1 year of experience. The role is situated in a Skilled Nursing Facility supporting adult residents in Lake City, MN, and requires adherence to specific cleaning protocols.
Performs housekeeping duties: Vacuums Changes water bucket or mop head as trained Uses wet floor signs Maintains housekeeping cart and closet Replenishes supplies – soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Cleans tile/walls, windows, and glass doors Ensures chemicals are locked up Cleans public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms: Cleans drinking fountains with disinfectant Replenishes supplies – soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Vacuums carpets Empties and washes waste baskets with disinfectant when needed Assists with emergency spills as needed Maintains clean linen carts Wears gloves at all times Assists with grounds cleanup when requested Performs other duties as assigned. This may include but is not limited to: Room changes Cleaning wheel chairs Assisting with special events Required Qualifications less than 1 year
