The Medical Dosimetrist will be responsible for creating computerized and manual treatment plans as directed by a Radiation Oncologist and supervised by a Medical Physicist. Key duties include identifying and contouring relevant anatomy, performing image registration, and documenting planning and billing.
A Bachelor of Art or Science in a relevant field and graduation from a formal medical dosimetry program are required for this role. Candidates must obtain Medical Dosimetrist Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board within twelve months of hire, and five years of radiation therapy experience is preferred.
Medical Dosimetrist Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board. If not yet certified but eligible, certification must be obtained within twelve (12) months from date of hire, required. ARRT preferred.
