This role involves providing pharmacotherapy for all covered patients, participating in call schedules with preceptor backup, and precepting students. The resident will also complete departmental documentation promptly and engage in formulary management activities.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited college and be licensed to practice pharmacy in West Virginia, with prior hospital experience being preferred. Essential skills include accurate typing, maintaining a professional demeanor under stress, strong ethics, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Degree from accredited College of Pharmacy and hold a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. Licensed to practice pharmacy in West Virginia. Membership in professional organizations is desirable.
Prior experience working in Hospital setting or similar experience preferred.
Must type accurately and with moderate speed. Must maintain a neat, clean, and orderly appearance at all times. Must maintain a calm attitude and mature outlook in moments of stress. Must have a strong personal ethics and excellent professional conduct. Must possess strong
personal interrelationship skills, exceptional communication and organizational skills and a high tolerance level.
