The Contractual Esthetician is responsible for delivering high-end, results-driven skincare experiences by providing professional, customized treatments and thorough client consultations. This role also involves maintaining treatment room cleanliness, adhering to hygiene standards, and educating clients on skincare routines and retail products.
Candidates must possess a valid Idaho Esthetician License and proven experience providing professional skincare services, coupled with strong client service and communication skills necessary to work independently as a contractor. Maintaining current licensure and having liability insurance are mandatory qualifications.
The Contractual Esthetician plays a key role in delivering a high-end, results-driven skincare experience to Members and their Guests. This independent contractor position is responsible for providing exceptional esthetic services while maintaining the elevated standards, professionalism, and welcoming atmosphere of the Wellness Center. The Esthetician operates with autonomy while collaborating with the wellness team to ensure a seamless and luxurious guest experience.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This position operates primarily indoors within a spa and wellness environment. The role requires maintaining a clean, calm, and professional treatment space. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, slipping, tripping, or minor exposure to chemicals in skincare products.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The Esthetician is regularly required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movements.

Not Required: Required Education and Experience
1. Valid Idaho Esthetician License 2. Proven experience providing professional skincare services 3. Strong client service and communication skills 4. Ability to work independently in a contractor role
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Experience with advanced skincare treatments (peels, microdermabrasion, etc.) 2. Retail sales experience and product knowledge 3. Experience in a spa, resort, or wellness setting 4. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1. Must maintain current licensure in accordance with Idaho State Board requirements 2. Current liability insurance (or ability to obtain prior to start) 3. Participation in First Aid/CPR/AED Certification is preferred
Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.
